SUMMARY:
Bass Reeves was a former slave who became a U.S. Deputy Marshal. He worked hard
bringing in criminals and was respected and feared for over three decades. Even though there were people who did not
like the idea of a black lawman, Mr. Reeves excelled at his job and was feared
by lawless. This is definitely a good
read.
