SUMMARY:  This book tells the story of Morengaru. He is a young warrior who has been cast out of the village.  His mother is  a member of the Kikuyu tribe and his father is a Masai.  These two tribes are very different.  The Kikuyu are farmers, while the Masai are warriors.  One day Morengaru kills a leopard and the Kikuyu villagers are happy.  What happens next will shock you! A little boy wearing the leopard skin, sneaks up on Morengaru who has just awoken from a deep sleep. You will have to read the book to find out all the exciting details.  A definite must read!

HOW I WOULD USE THIS BOOK AS A TEACHER:  I would use this book as part of a lesson in multiculturalism.
